As the Behavioral Health Experience Officer, you represent the voice of our Members, Providers, and Clients for a $4B and growing book of business. You will define and drive the execution of the Behavioral Health Experience strategy for all lines of business. You will oversee strategy development and execution in order to meet the strategic objectives of Health Plans, Providers, Clients, and Behavioral Health business leaders. You will span direct oversight as well as shared service models for delivery teams. You will establish and drive the framework through which our teams build and nurture collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders in order to impact millions of lives and helps make the health care system better for everyone.

Responsibilities
  • Define and oversee the execution of the Behavioral Health Experience strategy for Members, Providers, and Clients across all lines of business to support the Enterprise NPS objective
  • Drive cross enterprise collaboration in formulating strategies, roadmaps, and better integrating Member/Provider/Client interactions
  • Directly oversee the Provider Relations team (150+) who deliver the full range of Behavioral Health provider relations and service interactions. Thus includes; managing provider relationships in accordance with contracts, resolving provider issues, promoting use of physician portal and soliciting future service enhancements, as well as overseeing training & development of external provider education programs
  • Directly oversee Provider Communications function and leverage it as a strategic enabler to drive staff and culture development and build differentiated relationships with our Providers
  • Build relationships directly with key Providers, Health Plan leaders, and Clients to develop strategic partnerships, facilitate innovation, and drive business growth
  • Serve as Business Executive for investments in Provider/Member and Client experience managing capital spend of $5MM+ annually
  • Develop market level strategies and plans to support complex Health Plan programs based on market, state, and client requirements across all lines of business
  • Own decisions and act quickly and effectively to drive forward progress most likely to impact entire functions and/or strategic customers (internal or external)
  • Identify and resolve organizational, operational, and technical problems at a business unit level
  • Provide leadership to and be accountable for the performance and results through multiple layers of management and senior level professional staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree, Advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of managerial oversight experience (150+ staff) within the Provider Network function, including Provider Relations & Provider Communications
  • 5+ years in defining and executing customer and provider NPS strategies at brand and transactional levels
  • Organizational agility to work across an enterprise matrix
  • 5+ years external client management experience including issue resolution
  • Ability to drive large scale initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to grow teams and leaders
  • Up to 30% travel
