System-wide, SCA and its affiliates serve approximately 1 million patients per year in more than 30 states, operating over 200 surgical facilities, including ambulatory surgery centers and surgical hospitals, in partnership with approximately 3,000 physicians. The company is a leader in partnering strategically with many health plans, medical groups and health systems to align with physicians through value-based payment models that reward quality, patient experience and cost-efficiency.

Key to their vision for the future, SCA seeks a dynamic and strategic leader to join the organization as a Group Vice President to drive growth and excellence in delivery of care in a key SCA market or region. This highly collaborative and consultative leader will have full P&L responsibility across multiple markets, currently defined as Greater San Diego, Northern California, and Hawaii, 14 center and $165K in revenue. However, unlike traditional day-to-day operations roles, this individual will not only lead existing operations, he/she will build and drive the growth strategy for their markets, targeting new partnerships with health systems, health plans and other risk bearing entities, physician groups and other key stakeholders. The Group VP will innovate, benchmark, pilot and scale new services and initiatives that will transform the business and clinical delivery, elevating SCA beyond “best-in-class” to set the bar on “world-class” service and delivery.
