Job Opportunity with BRINGIT

Chief Marketing Officer

Apply Now please     Tell A Friend

BRINGiT is a nonprofit initiative squarely focused on turning off the tap of plastic pollution caused by plastic produce bags. 66 billion of them go into landfills and the ocean from the US every year. Yet they are excluded from bag bans etc – they are “hidden in plain sight” and no other Non-Profit Organization has focused on this UNTIL NOW. Raising consumer, legislator and retail awareness about the problem is key to BRINGiT’s objectives, and we are seeking a CMO to join our team to help us mastermind MarCom plans and the first national, digital campaigns this fall, and to take pre-orders of our product. We have secured the US exclusive and patents on a groundbreaking material designed for use in reusable bag alternatives. BRINGiT has strong partnerships with the big plastic pollution organizations to help amplify our campaigns, and are lining up corporate partnerships for funding. We have access to some leading marketers and advocates in the space through our advisory network.

The CMO role is an enormous opportunity for someone who understands marketing fundamentals and is looking for an opportunity to build something purposeful and impressive, and to explore and learn what the next generation of marketing tactics looks like in this space. Most importantly, the team is highly functioning and works extremely well together in a very supportive environment. Until funding is secured, salaries are not paid out to anyone. We expect to start receiving salaries in Dec/January at the latest.

This is an amazing fully remote opportunity. Part-time and flexible hours.
