About CreditPath
Getting back into work after an extended career break or transitioning from military service can be an intimidating time. At Fitch Ratings, we value the diverse experiences and perspectives that life outside of the office can bring to our workplace. We call it human insight.
Fitch CreditPath is a full-time internship program that welcomes financial services professionals who are ready to re-enter the workforce in credit analysis, macro research and technical related fields including software engineering after an extended break from their careers.
This year, we have opened CreditPath to US Military Veterans. Given the incredible platform and opportunities that CreditPath created for our former participants, we are confident that this program can also benefit veterans who are transitioning to the corporate environment.
Upon completion of the program, participants will be current on analytical, technical and market developments, and positioned to apply for an on-going analytical role within Fitch.
Training for Transitioning Veterans:
This program offers on the job training while receiving specialized veteran transition curriculum. Veterans will have a stimulating and rewarding intern experience that provides acclimation support, coaching and a dedicated program manager. The program will provide veterans with job skills training, a strong network and a solid foundation of how we do business. Upon completion of the program, participants will be positioned to apply for a full-time role within Fitch.
The 2022 Program starts September 19 >>
The CreditPath Program Experience
Returning professionals and transitioning veterans will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, inclusive, thought-provoking environment-one that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our stakeholders globally.
Credit Training for Returning Professionals:
CreditPath has a customized curriculum that covers credit analysis on the Ratings side and macro analysis research on the Solutions side, as well as professional skills like communication and collaboration. Because of Fitch’s size and scale, we are able to offer our participants access to existing training platforms such as Fitch Credit Academy. Our training is designed to offer a customized experience, based on each participant’s unique background and needs, to supplement the core CreditPath curriculum.
Graduate Testimonials
“The support and training we received was a great benefit. Meeting leaders at Fitch was useful so that we were familiar with the corporate structure and could reach out to someone if we needed help. After 18 years at home it felt fantastic to sit at a desk and actually have input into something that was outside my everyday life. I was so excited I was able to be productive and contribute during the program and knew making the decision to return to work was the right one.”
“CreditPath is a one-time opportunity to make transitioning into working full-time easier, while giving you time to reflect on the wider Fitch company and your own goals in just under ten weeks! The CreditPath Program gave me an opportunity to regain my confidence.”
