We have gathered a list of some of our favorite returnship programs, otherwise known as internships for people returning to work after a career break and largely geared toward women who have taken breaks for caregiving. While financial firms lead the path to returnships (Returnship is a trademarked term by Goldman Sachs), over the past few years returnships have been emerging in the marketplace across industries to include tech and media.
Companies are finding this is a way to attract talented candidates, train and retain them. Most returnship programs demand you have at least a two-year break from working. Take a look at this list and start applying.
If you have any you would recommend, please let us know. We will update this list again to capture the returnships that have different deadlines for applications.
