An article in this month’s The Atlantic certainly hit a nerve, going viral in less than 24 hours, tackling the eternal question: Can women have it all? This time it’s a Princeton University professor and former State Department appointee offering her perspective–one that advocates for change in the corporate culture to better support women.
One sentence that caught our eye in particular, and one that we hope companies will take note of: “In 2011, a study on flexibility in the workplace… showed that increased flexibility correlates positively with job engagement, job satisfaction, employee retention, and employee health.”
