Interesting food for thought in a WSJ piece today about how the staffing agency Manpower is pushing employers to write up a “success profile” of what kind of candidate would be best suited for the position the company is looking to fill. Seems like the same logic could be put upon the candidate, too, as a good exercise for 1) determining what kind of job you might be interested in (write your own success profile for yourself), or 2) tucking this away as a good question to ask in an interview (what does the success profile of the candidate you want to hire look like?) to make sure you would ultimately be happy in the prospective role.
