We live close enough for me to walk our kids to school and I love running into friends and neighbors during this morning ritual.
The other day I saw a friend on her way to a “Creative Mornings” event — free meetups for the creative community that include a brief speaker talk and breakfast, hosted at a local company.
Good news — by creative they mean everyone — and there are monthly events in cities large and small, globally. Each month’s topic centers around a shared theme. July’s theme is Trust.
What an opportunity to join a community, visit an office space and learn. They also have a job board!
Opportunities like this allow for an excellent place to learn about new trends in the workplace, spark creative thinking in yourself, and practice the elevator pitch – a critical tool in your job search.
