Responsibilities
This position is full-time. A few of the major roles associated with this opportunity include:
- Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer
- Manage all aspects of transactional finance, including journal entries, ledger reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare monthly cash flow statements and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as necessary to facilitate the audit process.
- Present financial data to the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Total Compensation
The salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Entry level/ 0-2 years of relevant full-time experience in managerial accounting and financial management.
- Must be able to visit the office in NYC once a week
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
