Accounting Manager: Hybrid

Responsibilities

This position is full-time. A few of the major roles associated with this opportunity include:

  • Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer
  • Manage all aspects of transactional finance, including journal entries, ledger reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow statements and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as necessary to facilitate the audit process.
  • Present financial data to the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Total Compensation

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Entry level/ 0-2 years of relevant full-time experience in managerial accounting and financial management.
  • Must be able to visit the office in NYC once a week
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to RLC’s core values and mission.
