Burbio is looking for highly organized and analytical individuals to join our Research Team.  The work is 100% remote, part-time or full time with schedule flexibility.

The Ed Finance Research position will entail:

  • Researching state education and school district websites for school budget and finance information
  • Classifying and categorizing findings in a spreadsheet or database
  • Identifying and quantifying trends
  • Working with the Burbio Account Management team to service issues for clients and partners

The position requires finance/accounting knowledge with specific background in school finance a big plus. Candidates must also have strong computer, research and analytical skills as well as the ability to efficiently use a variety of different software programs.  Having a good understanding of school and community life is also essential.  The role requires maturity, organization, attention to detail, and creative problem solving.

Burbio has hired extensively among professionals returning to the workforce after a break and continues to be open to those types of candidates.  This position is perfect for someone looking to re-enter the workforce who has volunteered or been active in the community.


Burbio currently has team members in Florida, Pennsyvlania, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, and candidates from those states are strongly preferred as that is where we are already established as a company. The job is 100% remote, and allows for some flexibility, but it is a five day a week position as Burbio has regular team calls.
