Silicon Valley venture capital firm Kleiner-Perkins is starting a fellowship program for designers, with the intention of placing them as interns inside some of their portfolio companies.
What does this mean? It means the emphasis on design of websites and products is big-time, enough so that even VCs are placing value on its importance to the success of a business.
