Mastercard is offering three return to work opportunities — two in Purchase, New York and one in Miami, Fla. — to run between September and December of this year.

About the programs

The Relaunch program is designed to enable highly-experienced individuals who were mid-career professionals before taking a break from their careers to re-enter the workplace. We know it can be tough for people to return to work after time away, so our program provides returners with a range of tools and support to help them find their way.

As a returner, you can expect to be fully immersed in the organization. From the start you will have the opportunity to work on a strategic and commercially-focused project, enabling you to build on your skills and previous experience. You will attend an induction program, receive on-the-job training, a buddy, coaching and plenty of opportunities to learn about our business and develop new and existing skills. And at the end of the program, there’s the opportunity to apply for a full-time role.

All candidates must have taken a career break for two or more years.

General Relaunch Program (Miami)

We are currently hiring for our Relaunch Your Career program. This is a 16 week paid placement that helps people who have had a career break to return to work. You will have the chance to work on an engaging project at Mastercard, plus on-the-job training, coaching, and support. At the end of the 16 weeks, there is a potential permanent role waiting for you. The possibilities are Priceless.

The available roles are all part of a program that runs from September 2018 to January 2019. All of the positions are at mid-career level and will be based in our Miami, FL office.

Program Project Enterprise Security Solutions – Global Network Solutions Sales Enablement

The Team:
Global Network Solutions (GNS) is developing a business model to support our key businesses, Payment Enhancement Solutions, and Network & Service Distribution, as they work with the Regional Teams to explore, identify and secure new business across both switching and product opportunities. The GNS team is looking for support to develop the Global Network Solutions Engagement Model as follows:
• Support the development of the GNS Engagement Model, to include the meeting structures and templates required to develop the month to month tracking of the global business, including opportunity analysis and sales reporting.
• We will be creating new structures that will allow Ideation and delivery of GNS products and solutions.

The Project:
This role will support these efforts in the following ways:
• Capture business requirements in suitable templates to track ideation sessions, product sales and initial switch contact opportunities
• Build the templates for 4 meeting types- Bi-weekly Regional catch up, mid-quarter business reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews and the twice yearly Ideation sessions
• Sales Enablement
o Building templates for opportunity Identification
o Business case analysis template built with GNS Analyst on the team
o Creating the initial approach documentation for GNS regional teams to make approaches to potential customers
o Initial requirements document- to record customer requirements prior to deal signing
o Letter of Intent template
o Requirement gathering structure
• Product mapping/sales materials
o Update the Product and Sales Centre with GNS contacts and product materials (FSM product sales decks)
o Product ‘bible’ completed for all GNS live products

Program Project – Enterprise Security Solutions – Identity Solutions Overview

The Team:
The Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) team is responsible for delivering security solutions through the development of superior technology products that safeguard the payments eco-system for our stakeholders. As part of this organization, the Identity Solutions team leads the development and delivery of innovative authentication products that enable simple and secure payment experiences for consumers.
This role requires understanding industry insights, global/regional market trends, key metrics and results to develop global/regional business strategies while delivering thought leadership around our business priorities spanning Identity Solutions and Security & Decision Products.
• Are you interested in the changing demands of the external environment particularly with the advances of digital presenting new risks of threats?
• Can you help Mastercard shift from a traditional, control-focused defensive approach towards a proactive, dynamic approach that incorporates intelligence and analytics to inform the development of our products and services?
• Can you help to design and execute analytics for evaluating business issues (e.g. strategic initiatives, business performance, new product development, scenario planning)?

The Project:
Working with the SVP, ESS Identity Solutions
• Conduct industry and competitive analysis both globally and regionally
• Support regional commercialization and go to market initiatives along with data analysis and key performance indicators for products
• Translate consumer insights into differentiated value propositions
• Test, challenge and improve product business cases for overall viability and financial validity, leveraging business and financial acumen
• Support regional business reviews with reporting, data analysis and deck preparation
