The Funding Corporation is looking for the next Vice President of System Accounting & Financial Reporting. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of a dedicated team responsible for managing the Farm Credit Funding Corporation’s quarterly and annual information statement function. The role is a highly visible opportunity where you will play an active and key role in the activities of several Farm Credit System workgroups.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Funding Corporation is looking for a talented, analytical and highly collaborative individual who will be responsible for a variety of critical functions to support and manage the System’s financial reporting and internal control over financial reporting process. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, articulate and demonstrate self-confidence.

REQUIREMENTS

• CPA is required

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting, preferably with a Big 4 firm; or a combination of public and private experience

• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with teams across the organization

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required

• Experience with Hyperion or other hierarchical databases is preferred

• Ability to provide functional and cross-functional leadership

• Strong attention to detail
