Common Threads Project works to help women and girls heal from the enduring psychological effects of sexual and gender based violence (SGBV) in the context of war and displacement by building local capacity through training, launching scalable interventions, and promoting efficacy research. We envision a world in which all survivors of sexual and gender based violence - not only women of privilege - have the opportunity to receive a culturally responsive, survivor-centered intervention for deep and lasting psychological recovery.
